Fishing Master Beginner Guide: Skills, Auras & Your First Build

Learn the early skill loop, how auras stack with rods and races, and how to use the Skill ↔ Aura Matcher before you commit a build.

By EratoGame Editors Beginner

Fishing Master stacks skills, auras, rods, and races to shape what you catch and how easily. This guide is original EratoGame structure — verify specific names and values in-game before planning around them.

Skills come first

Casting, reeling, patience, luck, strength, and precision each change one part of the catch loop. Early on, pick one or two to level instead of spreading points evenly — a focused skill does more than a shallow stat sheet.

Auras multiply a skill

Auras are the multiplier layer. Instead of guessing which aura fits, use the Skill ↔ Aura Matcher: pick a skill to see which auras boost it, or pick an aura to see every skill it improves.

Aim for two loadout pieces (rod, aura, or race) pointing at the same skill. One piece is a light lean; two or more is a real build.

Assemble a first build

  1. Choose a goal: rare hunting, heavy fish, or fast sessions.
  2. Pick a rod and race that share that goal, then add the aura that boosts the same skill.
  3. Run the Build Calculator to see what the combo emphasizes and what it leaves thin.
